“No More Weave!!!!” Blog Revisited

Everyday I keep learning and growing. With that said I do not wish to make anyone feel uncomfortable. I know very well that black women in particular, have it very rough in many ways. I approached the weave discussion with a stern approach, in which the sentiments were in fact right, but not cushioned or effective coming from a black male. Consequently, this blog has been edited and republished.

Here’s what should be said, however, because it’s primarily informational and purely out of concern and love. Many things suddenly become popular but no one ever questions where certain trends come from.  New addictions and traps are sometimes laid before groups of people in order to successfully distract, balance and subjugate groups. If anyone wears wigs and weaves, whatever—I’m not mad. Do whatever you want. If it makes you happy, I judge no one. However, in the other blog I very indirectly called attention to the belief that it’s sudden surge in popularity and pervasiveness came not from the black community, but from one of the “secret elite groups” by design.  People need to know that monetarily, spiritually and psychologically, there’s an agenda.

People are also unaware of the “energy” that goes into some of the hair. Most truly don’t know where it comes from, what “ceremonies” are performed with it, or the circumstances in which some of the hair is retrieved. All over the world hair is extracted from dead people, prisoners, and people under extreme duress. In India spiritual purification ceremonies are performed to purge all over the bad energy and evil into the hair and then have it shaved for a spiritual cleansing. This hair is then packaged and sent to African-American communities for sale. Because people in various communities aren’t socialized to have a healthy education and rudimentary knowledge of the logistics of varying industries, many things become popular on a foundation of ignorance.

This industry has become so popular in part because people don’t know much about certain truths and forgotten realities. For thousands of years indigenous cultures knew about the importance, sanctity and power in hair. It’s almost an extension of the nervous system. Hair effects our sensory perception and awareness. Occultists even attempt to cast spells with hair. Nowadays, people do not understand what they are doing or what energies they are fooling around with. People do not know the complexities of our anatomy or the laws of the universe. Hair is almost a connection to higher senses, or an antennae, if you will. When people are using human hair from other people and putting on they are unwittingly exposing themselves to other energies. With people losing their hair, tying it up or covering it while diverted and buying into a vanity dependent industry, the ominous “powers that be” approve, promote and support it. All of a sudden it shot from just some people sometimes to an expected obsessively worn standard. This was not by accident. My objective is never to offend anyone and all my true friends know this—but people do not like the truth. Regardless, it is what it is.
